Avalon Books Wholesome/religious romances, published in hardcover.  Lots of libraries buy these books.  guidelines. 

Avon Books--  Contemporary and Historical Romance submission guidelines 

Barbour Publishing-- A publisher with a Christian flare.  .  They don't have a link to submission guidelines either.  They will email you a copy if you request it.

BET Books/Arabesque --  BET Books is a leader in multi-cultural romances.  

Dorchester Publishing-- Publish Leisure Books and Lovespell.   submission guidelines 

-Genesis Press-- Specializes in African-American, Hispanic, and interracial romances.

Harlequin-- Publish Mills & Boon, Harlequin, Silhouette, MIRA, and Steeple Hill.   submission guidelines.  

Harper Collins Publishers-- The parent company of Avon, all their romances are sold through the Avon imprints.  

Imajinn Books -- Specialize in "different" romances, and their submission guidelines are very clear that they're interested in Vampire Romances.   submission guidelines 

Kensington Publishing Corp--  Find info about publishing with them here.  They produce several lines, including Zebra, Kensington, Precious Gems and Pinnacle.  

Palisades/Multnomah Publishers -- A publisher of Christian romance. submissions 

Penguin Putnam Incorporated-- Penguin publishes a variety of lines, the most well-known of which are the NAL and Berkley/Jove romance lines.   

Random House, Inc-- They publish most of their romances under the Ballantine/Ivy, Bantam/Dell, Delacorte,  and Doubleday names.   submission guidelines

Thorndike Press-- Produces novels in large-print and hardback editions, often for libraries.    

Time Warner--  Warner books is launching a new romance imprint in January 2003 called "Warner Forever."  They will be publishing two titles per month, contemporary and historical romances.  Warner will consider queries from unagented writers for 100,00 word manuscripts. submission guidelines 

Tyndale House Publishers, Inc -- A Christian Press that produces the HeartQuest romance line, which they have a separate page for.  They publish mainly anthologies and series books.

Waterbrook Press -- This division of Random House publishes Christian fiction and nonfiction, including romance.   submissions

Elan Press--  Publishes Holiday themed Analogies.  Here’s your chance to be creative and have fun.  Any holiday will be considered, even some of the lesser known ones.  Religious, ethnic and civic holidays are all acceptable as long as the featured holiday is a prevalent element in the story.  Open to all romance subgenera (mystery, futuristic, fantasy, historical contemporary, etc.), any time period and locales.  Level of sensuality may be sweet to moderate, as long as any physical intimacy is appropriate to the story and in good taste.  Each submission should be 5000 - 8000 words in length, standard manuscript format (double-spaced, 1" margins, 25 lines per page).  Submission Guidelines

Severn House -- Produces library copies and large-print editions, as well as regular books from new and previously released romance novels and other books.  They don't have submission guidelines, but you can find contact addresses on their contact page.

Treble Heart Books -- The owner of this POD & e-publisher just bought Whidbey Books and Mountain View and has combined them under this new name.  They have expanded the other publisher's markets to include a wide range of romance.
